About I need some good scenery pictures of Thailand Beaches

I need some good scenery pictures of Thailand Beaches?
If anyone has any pictures that were taken on vacation that are really good, i would love to see them. I am an art student in Houston, TX at the Art Institute of Houston and in my Layout class we are redesigning a Book Jacket. In this book jacket design for The Beach by Alex Garland, I would like some beach scenes of Thai Beaches. If anyone can help me out that would be awesome. Email them to me at Jcraw4d3@hotmail.com I really appreciate all that help. Thanks and happy traveling. I plan to go someday.

If you don't mind paying a few dollars, go to www.istockphoto.com. They have great stock photos at very reasonable photos. I don't work for them -- I use them constantly for my work. I don't know what I'd do without them, actually.
Answer 2 :
http://www.visualthailand.com has the best photos of Thailand. All commercial free. Please give credit if you use anything. Contact if you need originals

About Which way does a cement mixer rotate in England

Which way does a cement mixer rotate in England?
Cement mixers have a history of suddenly stopping their rotation if a load of cement is not blended right. When they do they'll roll over, even whilest stopped at a traffic light. This happened some years ago in Garland, TX, instantly killing the lady in a car in the adjacent lane. My question, is this taken into account when programming the rotation? I assume one direction is for mixing or traveling and the other is for emptying. If the rollover is planned, Then it would make sense that British cement mixers would be made differently? Does anyone know which way they rotate? Here, the full loads rotate clockwise viewing from the rear.

People's Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
Answer 1 :
I don't think there is a safe direction to roll in so I think the designers of cement trucks would just try to prevent it from happening rather than trying to get the truck to roll in the safer direction.
Answer 2 :
The direction of rotation depends upon the design of the mixer, not where it's used. The inside of a cement mixer is a cork screw shape -- one direction mixes the contents and the other empties it. A properly designed system won't rotate if the mix "goes hard" so there must have been something seriously wrong with that mixer in Garland. And a mix doesn't suddenly "go hard", it takes time to start to set.

Answer 1 :
I read it four or five years ago. I liked it well enough, but wasn't blown away by it, mainly because I didn't like the main character (who I thought was incredibly selfish) enough.
Answer 2 :
yes read the book, after seeing the movie. I thought Alex Garland had really tuned into something, even more evident in the book.
Answer 3 :
This is a novel which promises a great deal, but never quite delivers in the end. The individual relationships - between Richard and the beautiful Francoise, between the various members of the community - and the sense of spiralling insanity on Richard's part, are sketched out brilliantly, giving the best parts of the novel an edge of real menace and drawing the reader completely, if temporarily, into the hermetic world the novel creates and occupies. But it's as if Garland, when it comes to it, is afraid to stick the boot in where needed, as if he loves some of his characters rather more than they deserve. The potentially explosive mix never detonates with the power you would hope for. The author is only twenty-six, however, and that he needs to learn ruthlessness is explicable and, given the many true qualities this book has, almost forgivable. Despite its flaws, The Beach is an engaging and interesting debut by an author who shows enormous promise. A little more ice in his heart and he'll surely do great things.

About Why did all old movie actresses have a soft voice

Why did all old movie actresses have a soft voice?
Am I the only one who noticed that whenever a actress spoke it was always soft, sweet, come , naive and had that certain ring to it? Like the old princesses from Disney Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and even live action actresses like Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe, Vivien Leigh, etc. Was it just the tone in the audio back then for the sound to travel better or what? Was it just how all actresses spoke, maybe to better preserve their voices for future roles?

About What or how should I charge for decorating someones house for Christmas, when the decorations are mostly mine

What or how should I charge for decorating someones house for Christmas, when the decorations are mostly mine?
I have been asked to decorate the interior of a house for Christmas. And wonder if there is a formula or guide line to follow for charging. Kitchen, entry, livingroom, bedroom, bathroom, hottub room and tree. What should the hourly rate be? For shopping for items as well? Travel time? And what/how do you charge for the use of your ornaments, there will be over 100 on the tree, plus garland, lights, figurines, candle holders and wreathes etc. elsewhere. Also hand picked pine cones. She has asked that it be elegant, so the items are not cheap. Also, if any get broken, what would I charge? Full price? They are used, but replacement isn't always possible. OOps I guess thats another few questions. But all related. Does that count? Don't answer that.

Answer 1 :
get on the internet and look up contracts for that sort of stuff...make sure you cover every detail, rental of your ornaments, labor, gas, and also if they should lose or damge items...try to google it...Barnes and Noble (a bookstore) also has a book on different types of contracts.. don't be a fool, get it in writing...if you want to protect you and your client...it also prevents anxiety:)
Answer 2 :
The cost of the products, plus 5%, plus gas, plus $10 an hour for ALL time involved, including driving and shopping.

About Garland Texas

Garland Texas?
My wife and I will be leaving NC to travel to Garland Texas. Can anyone suggest a good place to stay? We would like a room with a small kitchenette. Gee Thanks CJ. Do you really live in Garland? If so you must know a good hotel.

Answer 1 :
Holy crap! Garland Tx. I've lived here my whole life, there is no good place in Garland.
Answer 2 :
I'm not in Garland, but I work for a hotel in the DFW airport area. I know the hotel chain "Homestead Studios" has small kitchenettes in each room, so you might want to see if there's one near where you're going.
Answer 3 :
no
Answer 4 :
I don't know if Garland itself even *has* any hotels. However, the city of Richardson is just west of Garland, and used to boast a big Telecommunications industry, so there are plenty of hotels there for business travelers. There's a Comfort Suites on US-75 near IH-635; that'd probably be your best bet for location if you can't find anything in Garland proper. Just take 635 east and you'll hit all the major streets in Garland. EDIT: I'm sorry I can't offer any personal recommendations. When my family came in for my wedding, they all stayed at the Clarion because it was close by; it is now something else, and didn't have kitchen facilities.
Answer 5 :
La Quinta Suites. Affordable and very nice. Website Link: http://www.lq.com/lq/index.jsp Go Directly to La Quinta's Location in Garland: http://www.lq.com/lq/proxySearch.do;jsessionid=B4086A1C11D8736E561355D433216EFF?searchCity=Garland&searchState=TX&availability.palsra_IND_M=&availability.palsra_IND_D=&availability.palsra_IND_Y=&availability.palsra_OTD_M=&availability.palsra_OTD_D=&availability.palsra_OTD_Y=&availability.palsra_NRM=1&mapProvider=MapQuest&searchType=GEO&promocorp=&x=31&y=2
Answer 6 :
I used to live in Garland...stay in Dallas...Westin at Galleria is VERY nice and some have kitchenettes if I remember right. You can always rent a car and drive the 15 - 25 min drive. And plus Galleria is a VERY nice mall since they remodeled. Lots of nice restaurants like Grand Lux Cafe (had my 18th bday there). Some higher end shopping (Coach, Tiffany's, Sax Fifth Ave., Nordstroms, Louis Vittan (Sp?), Gucci, etc.) as well as everyday shopping (Gap, Old Navy, FYE, Macy's, American Eagle, etc.).
Answer 7 :
Garland is relatively small try Garland Inn's off I30 but your best bet is to stay in Mesquite very close and has very reasonable prices and a lot more choices. also there is a motel 6 off of I30
Answer 8 :
Actually, Garland is not small. It's a very large city. I lived there for 7 years, but I made my way back to Rowlett which is 5 min from Garland. I would suggest staying in Mesquite or even Dallas. Dallas is much nicer and they have a larger selection of hotels.
Answer 9 :
There aren't any hotels in garland with a kitchen, sorry, but you could try mesquite or dallas!!!!

The nearest train station closer to your place is Union Station. VIA rail offers service from Toronto Union Station to Guelph and London. For schedules and fares, please go to http://www.viarail.ca alternatively, you can telephone them at 1-888-VIA-RAIL (1 888 842-7245) As for bus travel, Greyhound offers bus service from the Toronto Coach Bus Terminal (down at Bay & Dundas) to Guelph and London. There's also another new provider that offers a service from Toronto (Pearson International Airport) to London: Aboutown. You can learn more about them at http://www.aboutown.ca/ I hope this helps.
