Am I the only one who noticed that whenever a actress spoke it was always soft, sweet, come , naive and had that certain ring to it? Like the old princesses from Disney Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and even live action actresses like Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe, Vivien Leigh, etc. Was it just the tone in the audio back then for the sound to travel better or what? Was it just how all actresses spoke, maybe to better preserve their voices for future roles?

i dnt think all had a sweet feminine voice naturaly, maybe most, but some were faking it:P cus it was what they were used to/liked at the time sweet feminine ladylike voices:)
